This is the highlight film we shot for Anyur and Baset wedding In July. The day started with prep at the Park Lane Hotel on 59th street. We then moved on to Central Park starting our shoot at 5th avenue entrance and making our way to Loeb boathouse stopping at some of my favorite places to shoot. Like the underpass by the carousel, The Mall, Bow Bridge, Bethesda Terrace and Fountain. We then moved on to the venue, Baku restaurant in Brooklyn Sheepshead bay area. This is a Azerbaijani restaurant / Cabaret but caters to a Lot of eastern European, people most of Russian / Ukrainian background. The bride was From Azerbaijan, the groom from Egypt they decided to have the wedding in NY because of large amount of family and friends the bride had here, but both recide in Nebraska where the groom is a professor of engineering. Like with most of my films I like the day to be a journey, with a slow buildup powerful bridge and emotional closing.
